There are two central laundry facilities; one in Strachey and one in Peile on the ground floor. There are 4 washing machines and 2 dryers in each. Washing machines cost £1.40 per wash, and it's 20p for use of the driers. If these facilities are too far away from your room, there is an additional, but smaller, laundry room in Sidgwick with one washing machine and one dryer.
If you're interested in being environmentally friendly (or saving some cash) there are two drying rooms, one in Peile (1st floor) and the other in Old Hall. These rooms have racks on which you can hang your clothes and are kept warm so that they dry within a matter of hours.
Irons and ironing boards can be found in the Sidgwick and Old Hall laundry rooms and the Peile drying room.
