CUUNA aims to spread the spirit of the United Nations (UN) within the University of Cambridge and youth in the local community by promoting a greater understanding of the roles, functions and potential of the UN, its Charter and its agencies with special attention to the Millennium Development Goals. The societiy also organises a trip to UN headquarters in Geneva each year.

The ~*Newnham Ethical Campaigns Society*~ promotes university-wide ethical
campaigns on a college level: from Fair Trade and anti-sweatshop boycotts,
to greener living, to ethical investment.

Newnham International Cultural Programme; Celebrating Diversity

Co-ordinator: Ruth Innes (rhri2)

NICP works with international students to put on fornightly
activities exploring the diverse cultures represented within
Newnham. Previous series have included China and India, with events
varying from language lessons to film nights to concerts to themed
buttery nights.
