Cambridge Student Methodist Society (MethSoc)

Lucy Salter (ls473@cam.ac.uk)

Cambridge Student Methodist Society (or MethSoc) is a welcoming, friendly group of Christian students who meet for worship, fellowship, and study, with much emphasis on faith and fun!

We do this through various events - the main meetings with speakers on Sundays at Wesley Church, coffee on Sunday evenings, weekly small groups for Bible study and fellowship, end-of-term retreats, and other regular social meet-ups, including formal halls, punting and cinema trips.

The society serves students - undergraduate and graduate - of all the colleges of the University of Cambridge, as well as of Anglia Ruskin University. MethSoc is open to anyone of any denomination or none, not just Methodists!

In MethSoc you will find many different personalities, and together we manage to get through the madness that inevitably faces students at university (adding a little madness of our own along the way!).

Fisher House (Catholic chaplaincy)

College rep: Divya Nelson (dn282)
College rep: Rebecca Gemmell (rg385)

Fisher House is the Catholic chaplaincy of the university. Apart from services and Bible studies we do regular social events such as weekday lunches, parties and trips. We also have our own bar and library. The college reps are more than happy to answer any questions or show you where it is (opposite brb and the waffle house!)

Newnham College Christian Union

The Newnham group of CICCU (www.ciccu.org.uk).
We are a group of students who seek to make Jesus known to students in Cambridge. We meet together every Wednesday evening from 7.30-9pm for fellowship and reading the Bible, so that we can be an effective mission team.

If you want to find out more or get in contact, please email Rachel or Alice.

Newnham/Selwyn Fusion Cell

President: Carol Sparke(cbhl2)

"Fusion is a network of college-based Christian small groups (cells), open to anyone interested in exploring what following Jesus means. We'll meet once a week to hang out, discuss things and do some Bible-study/prayer stuff as well (and there will be food involved). For much more info, check out www.fusioncambridge.com"
